Diallo Thierno Malick is from Senegal. He is a PhD student in Economics at Université Gaston Berger de Saint-Louis, Senegal.
His academic qualifications include a M.S.c in Applied Economics (Université Gaston Berger, Senegal); and M.Sc. in economic and quantitative analysis (Université Gaston Berger, Senegal).
His research fields cover many development economics issues including economics of education, labour market, and rural economic.
His current research interest investigates youth employment issues in Senegalese rural area, focusing on identifying the policy measures that need to be tackled to improve youth participation in rural activities. This research is a grant funded by the International Fund of Agricultural Development (IFAD). He will be working in this project with Dr. Tahirou Abdoulaye from IITA and Dr. Faye Mbene from Senegal.
