Mwita Erick Marwa is a Kenyan citizen, currently working with the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) as a Research Associate. He is a trained Agricultural Economist, with multidisciplinary experience working with research institutes and NGOs. His research work focuses on the adoption and impact pathways of development interventions, technologies, and institutional innovations, aimed at livelihood improvements. He is a beneficiary of the IITA’s CARE program and he has successfully undertaken his research in Tanzania and published a journal article titled: Do youth farmers benefit from participating in contract farming: Evidence from French beans youth farmers in Arusha, Tanzania. He holds a Masters degree in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Nairobi, a bachelors degree in Agribusiness Management from the same University and is currently enrolled for a Ph.D. program in Agricultural Economics at the same University. Through his work experience, he has demonstrated strong leadership, teamwork, organizing skills, a sense of responsibility, and capacity to work hard.
