Mr Lateef Bello was born in Lagos, Nigeria. He attended his primary and tertiary education in Nigeria. Lateef has a keen interest in Agriculture. In 2014, he obtained his first degree (B.Tech) in Agricultural Economics and Extension at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria. Lateef worked as a farm manager and training facilitator at Farmers Business School, Port Harcourt, Nigeria for 3 years.
He resigned in 2017 to pursue his Masters degree at the prestigious University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa where he recently obtained his M.Sc. degree with a “Cum laude” in Agricultural Economics. During his Masters degree, Lateef sojourned into other universities in Europe and West Africa under the Erasmus+ and Intra-Africa Mobility Scholarship Program where he took up courses in Economics at HEC Business School, University of Liege, Belgium and Agricultural Economics at the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension, University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
Moving forward, Lateef is currently seeking a placement for his Doctoral degree in Agricultural Economics. His research interest covers areas including agricultural production and resource economics and economic impact assement.
