Aubrey Jolex is from Malawi, currently a Master of Arts in Economics’ student at the University of Malawi, Chancellor College. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences majoring in Economics from the University of Malawi. He recently attended a training on Econometrics theory and practice and Monetary Economics organized by the African Economic Research Consortium at the Kenya School of Monetary studies.
Aubrey’s ultimate goal is to be an accomplished researcher with major experience in writing research proposals, conducting research in various fields and producing the best policy advice out of the research findings. His greatest achievement thus far is being awarded the research grant for Youth Researching Youth: Competitive Fellowships for Young African Scholars Researching Youth Engagement in Rural Economic Activities in Africa project funded by International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and being implemented by the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA).
He is a big fan of soccer.
