AKILIMALI Ndatabaye Ephrem is a Democratic Republic of Congo citizen. He is 27 years old. He holds a Masters in Entrepreneurship from the Makerere University (Uganda) and a Bachelors in Financial Management from the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences of the Université Officielle de Bukavu. He is a teaching and research assistant at the Université Officielle de Bukavu. His research areas are youth entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education and corporate entrepreneurship. Ephrem was awarded a BEBUC scholarship in December 2015. In 2013, he was awarded the Rawji Foundation prize in recognition of his brilliant Bachelors’ results.
In July 2019, he received the prize of the best teaching assistant of the Université Officielle de Bukavu, for the 2018-2019 academic year. So far, he has published five scholarly articles and is currently working on two papers, one of which is funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) through the CARE project of the IITA under the title; “Perceived Social Norms, Psychological Capital and Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurial Intention in South-Kivu (East of the DRC)”.
Ephrem speaks the French, English, Mashi and Swahili languages.
